Poll: Is It Fair to Make Schools Peanut-Free?

Some of the most difficult battles that occur in our schools are the ones that pit the rights of one child against the rights of another. Foremost among these may be the way in which schools handle peanut allergies. Many schools have banned peanuts from lunchrooms and party planning to protect the lives of students who could go into anaphylactic shock after ingesting so much as a peanut crumb. But some parents feel this unfairly penalizes the other kids, who ought to be able to eat what they want. Should schools ban peanuts outright, or try for a compromise? Select as many answers below as you agree with.
