Send Encouraging Notes to School With Your Child

Little pep talks to find all through the day

When your child's at school, you can't give the sort of encouragement and support you might like to every minute of the day. But there's one way to keep your positive voice in your child's head, and that's by slipping some encouraging notes where he or she will find them -- in a lunch bag, school book, backpack, pocket, folder, anywhere your child might come across it. You know best what sort of messages resonate most with your child, but if you could use some inspiration to get going, here are some to try:

  • I love you
  • I'm thinking about you right now
  • You're doing great!
  • I am so proud of you
  • You are very special
  • Keep trying! You can do it!
  • Hope you're having a super day
  • You rock!
  • Keep up the good work!
  • I believe in you
Write these or similar messages on slips of paper in your own writing, or print and snip preprinted notes to do the job.
