Question: Did You Keep a "Camp Mom" Calendar?
Answer:
We all felt very disorganized about "Camp Mom" when we started. We weren't sure we were going to be able to keep these short-attention-spanned kids busy for four hours every day, all through the summer. Getting out a calendar and entering everything we'd planned definitely gave us a sense of control, and suggested the shape of our summer. Filling things in around those events was less intimidating than filling up whole empty weeks and months. We didn't enter every single small project and activity, but the field trips and weekly events for sure.
