Our "Camp Mom" house was located right next to the high school where the kids would be going in a couple of years, so we took lots of long walks around the school and around the neighborhood. One time we did a "nature walk" and had the kids attach little items they found during their walk to a piece of sticky-side-out tape on their wrists. Our town has lots of parks, and we made an effort to visit as many different playgrounds as we could, a different one every week. The kids often played in the backyard, sometimes with a big red therapy ball they could push to one another or roll around on. And of course, our weekly bowling provided some physical activity, too.
