The Dandy-Walker Alliance asked families about the way their children learn best. Of the sixty families from all over the U.S. who responded:
- 62.7 percent of the students learn best hands-on, by doing a task
- 25.4 percent learn best visually, by watching someone do the task
- 10.2 percent learn best through verbal instruction
- 1.7 percent learn best by reading the information
