The Dandy-Walker Alliance asked families which school subjects their children struggle with more than others. Of the sixty families from all over the U.S. who responded:
- 60.7 percent of the students struggle with writing
- 42.9 percent struggle with math
- 35.7 percent struggle with reading
- 33.9 percent struggle with spelling
- 23.2 percent struggle with English
- 21.4 percent don't have any subject they struggle with more than others
- 19.6 percent struggle with science
- 14.3 percent struggle with history
