What School Subjects Do Children With Dandy-Walker Syndrome Struggle With?

The Dandy-Walker Alliance asked families which school subjects their children struggle with more than others. Of the sixty families from all over the U.S. who responded:

  • 60.7 percent of the students struggle with writing
  • 42.9 percent struggle with math
  • 35.7 percent struggle with reading
  • 33.9 percent struggle with spelling
  • 23.2 percent struggle with English
  • 21.4 percent don't have any subject they struggle with more than others
  • 19.6 percent struggle with science
  • 14.3 percent struggle with history
