The Dandy-Walker Alliance asked families about the type of school their children attend. Of the sixty families from all over the U.S. who responded:
- 62.3 percent of the students are in public school with accommodations
- 17 percent are in public school with no accommodations
- 11.3 percent are being homeschooled
- 3.8 percent are in a private school for children with special needs
- 3.8 percent are in a mainstream private school without accommodations
- 1.9 percent are in a mainstream private school with accommodations
