To remind yourself that, yes, your child does have a diagnosis, and you do know what you're doing.

You've read more than they have. You've consulted with more therapists and specialists and researchers and assorted experts than they have. You've networked with more parents of children like yours than they have. And you've studied your child ever, ever so much more than they have. You could write a book, or a blog, or a lot of very helpful forum and e-mail posts. You could give a speech at a support group. You're a student, a scholar, an expert in your own right, unappreciated only in the bosom of your family. If you can't get them to actually read what you've been reading or writing, see if throwing around some high-falutin' technical terms will stun them into silence.
