Can you spot the made-up story?

Welcome to the Parenting Special Needs Weekly Quiz. Each Sunday, you'll find a brief description of five stories relating in some way to children with special needs. Four of them will have been covered the previous week in the Parenting Special Needs blog. The fifth will be familiar but flawed. Can you guess which is which? Click on a true item, and you'll go to the blog entry or article that mentioned it. Click on a fake one, and you'll be rewarded with an inspirational message from our Love Notes Gallery. Take a look at this week's installment, and get guessing!

Quiz for Sunday, April 13, 2008

  1. Studies on sleep found that when mothers do not get enough sleep, their children are more likely to be overweight and depressed.

  2. Eleven out of every 100 hospitalized children are injured by medication errors, according to researchers.

  3. A contest on the Brookes Publishing site gives away a free set of 13 books once a week in April.

  4. The book Autism Heroes contains black-and-white photos of families of children with autism along with first-person narratives from parents.

  5. The first edition of the All About Parenting blog carnival by the About.com Parenting & Family guides will be hosted on the Family Internet site.

Remember -- if you end up in the Love Notes Gallery, you guessed correctly! Congratulations!
