Meaningful Magnets
Let your car show what you care about

By Terri Mauro, About.com

Like wristbands, car magnets supporting causes are an ever-expanding trend. Simple yellow ribbons supporting the troops have turned into a rainbow of ribbons for all reasons. Most of the following ribbons for child-related causes do not directly benefit any actual charity, but are intended to offer support to victims and raise awareness.

Angelman Syndrome
Autism
Birth defects and prematurity
Cerebral palsy
Child abuse
Childhood cancer
Congenital heart defects
Cystic fibrosis
Diabetes
Down syndrome
Drug free
Fragile X
Leukemia
Myositis
Organ donation/transplantation
Pregnancy and infant loss
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
