Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day, "an innovative way for 17 million people with CP to tell the world how they want to make their life better. World Cerebral Palsy Day is also the way people with CP can make it a reality."

26. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

That would be September, and the site of the American Childhood Cancer Organization has a copy of the proclamation, awareness kits for purchase, and a Gold Ribbon Heroes program to honor "individuals who have made a positive impact on the lives of others [including] patients, parents, hospital staff, volunteers, survivors, siblings, and more."

21. Partnering With Your Child's School: A Guide for Parents

The HSC Foundation puts out a number of resources for families of children with special needs, including this booklet "designed to help parents of children who have been diagnosed with health or mental health care needs to learn about available resources and to develop a partnership with their children’s school."
