My Review

This show is very funny! From being a hectic mother to a child trying to find her place in the world, there is something there for everyone. It was written and produced amazingly and families can gather around everywhere and watch and laugh and tear up a little bit together. "Brick" seems to have some sort of disability. I wish they would expand on that in the show. We don't exactly know what's wrong with him.

Is there a particular episode you recommend?

"Valentine's Day 1" was a great episode! Everything about it was spot on for my family. Kids trying to grow up, parents trying to hang on to them. Kids wanting to do things that require parental help/supervision, parents wanting to try to have time alone. It is definitely my favorite episode.

Is there a particular episode you have concerns over?

"Valentine's Day 2" concerns me. A mother "dating" her son? What's this about? A daughter going around asking adults if their son is the one she kissed on Halloween? None of these things happen in real life. These episodes are usually so spot on and able to connect with everyone's life.

How could the show improve?

This show should go back to how it was. It used to be so family oriented. It was able to connect with everyone. But lately, "Frankie" has been acting a little bit like "Sue". "Frankie" used to be so strong. Now she's just weird. Go back to how she used to be! We liked her!

What stories would you like to see this show do?

Bring "Brick" to the doctor. In real life, parents would notice their child was different and do something about it!

Maybe "Sue" could get asked to go to a dance by one of "Axel's" friends as a joke. But "Axel" finds out about it and either puts a stop to it, or wish he had.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes
