Why I Started
I started my blog to keep extended family up to date but discovered that blogging was incredibly therapeutic for me. Now, I can't imagine not writing and sharing our experiences with others.
How I Do It
I blog five days a week, Monday - Friday, taking the weekend off to spend time with my family. My blog is quite personal in nature, using real names and real events. I couldn't make up better stuff than what happens in everyday life around our house!
Advice
- I think blogging is a great way to just unload things you might never actually say out loud. It's very cheap therapy! And the connections I've made with other special needs parents are simply priceless - these other special needs bloggers are "my people". The blog, Love That Max, will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the very first special needs blog I found and started reading daily.
