Why I Started
I wanted to give a faith-filled perspective for other parents trying to navigate the landscape of Christian parenting for a child with special needs. My son has Aspergers, and many in the church misunderstand these kids and ascribe ugly assignments to their outbursts and quirks. For other parents trying to survive and even take comfort from scripture, I offer my perspectives on Biblical promises as they relate to our children's peculiar needs.
How I Do It
So far, I've posted an average of three times a week. I hope to enlist some friends of mine who also are parenting or grand-parenting children with special needs. We will share from our personal lives, our childrens' stories, and on anything that relates to our topic, form advocacy and awareness to techniques and tips. I hope to learn from my readers as I attempt to impart wisdom and inspiration.
