Why I Started
I was inspired to write a blog because I had read some others, but I didn't know how to begin. It just came to me one day that my blog would focus on my daughter Haley, who is developmentally delayed. Once that decision was made the rest just fell into place. Haley is huge part of my life, and I know that any blog I wrote would certainly include her, but it wasn't until I decided to make her the focus that I thought I could begin. I have a lot of stories to share, and she gives me new material every day.
How I Do It
I post to my blog every weekday. I rarely get near the computer on the weekends. I have noticed that my readers don't really check my blog on weekends either. I don't know if it is because of my decision not to post then or not. I am very truthful in my blog posts because I want to be able to help others who are going through similar things. I also want my extended family who read my blog to be "in the loop."
Advice
- I think the best blogs are the ones that are about the good times as well as the troubles.
