The Golden Soldiers, Inc. is a faith based, 501c(3) non-profit organization focused on spreading the meaning of the Golden Rule as well as hosting events in honor of individuals with special needs.

The Golden Soldiers, Inc. offers the following:
Sensory Friendly Movie Events: A sensory friendly movie is a movie which is shown without previews, the sound is not as loud as a regular movie, and the lights are not as dim. You can also talk, shout, scream and run around the movie theater during these movies! The Golden Soldiers, Inc. partner with multiple movie theaters to bring this wonderful experience to as many families as possible. Throughout the year The Golden Soldiers rent out a movie theater and invite all their families to attend a special showing of an all ages friendly movie.
Special Needs Baseball: Every Spring and Fall The Golden Soldiers, Inc adopt a team from Special Needs Baseball Leagues and participate as buddies during the games. This is always an exciting event and one which brings great fun and memories. The leagues typically run two 6-week seasons in the Spring (April – May) and the Fall (Sept – Nov). There is no weekday practice but each team plays on Saturday between 9 am – 4pm. The games last one hour and you will experience some light exercise and running. Special Needs baseball is similar to mainstream baseball with the players being able to bat, run the bases, and play the field. There are a few differences in that there are no outs, strikes or balls. Every athlete gets a turn to bat and the players swings the bat until they get a hit. The last batter always gets a home run.
Special Needs Planning Workshops: The Golden Soldiers, Inc. have partnered with financial service providers and together they are hosting Special Needs Planning Workshops, designed to educate families through the maze of legal and financial complexities surrounding planning for the future of dependents with special needs.
BIG DAY OUT: A Free carnival to honor children with special needs. Enjoy carnival games, inflatables, video games, live music performancesl, face-painting, superheroes and princesses, representation from the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and more.
The Golden Soldier Facility: The announcement was made on June 2, 2012 about the future of The Golden Soldiers to build a 100,000 square foot full encompassing facility for individuals with special needs. A place to play, learn, adapt, train, integrate, unite, and be motivated. This facility will provide different therapies, life coaching skills, play rooms, athletic programs and much more all for individuals with special needs.
