Letter to Teacher
- At the start of each new school year, usually at "meet the teacher night," I take a letter to my ADHD/LD son's new teacher. I inform her of his diagnosis, tell her what strategies have worked in the past and I also include a little background information about him. This seems to narrow the teacher's learning curve and gives her a heads up from the very start. I make sure to include information about his many positive qualities, likes and dislikes, etc. too.
